Membership

Our membership year is January 1st to December 31st each year. Annual dues for 2008 are $65. BAPW membership is open to any woman who works or lives in Barrington and surrounding communities. Our goal is to attract a diverse group of members.  Membership entitles you to attend monthly meetings at the member rate, monthly member news on the website, and the opportunity to post your professional information and web site link on BAPW.org. You may also bring your professional literature (business cards, brochures, etc.) to each meeting for display on the literature table. This is an excellent way to market your business.  Members of BAPW meet the first Thursday evening of each month (except July and August in 2008).  A short program is presented at each meeting on topics of significance to women in business. Topics include areas of professional development as well as health and social issues. Through educational forums, effective networking, and scholarships to local women, we promote equality for women in career opportunities as well as social, educational, economic and financial arenas.

The cost of our regular monthly dinner meeting is $35 for members and $40 for guests (prices for special events may vary). Please make your reservation by noon the Tuesday before the meeting by e-mailing your RSVP and dinner selection to info@bapw.org or calling our Marketing Chair.  Advance reservations are very important so an accurate count can be given to the restaurant.  Dinner costs will be billed for any cancellations received with less than 24 hours notice.
